| KVM stands for Keyboard, Video and Mouse. A KVM switch enables you to connect one monitor, keyboard, and mouse to two or more computers and switch back and forth between each computer. KVM switches come in both PS/2 and USB varieties. We recommend using the USB KVM Switches whenever possible, as they are more reliable and easier to use. The most common usage for KVM switches is with servers where it is impractical to connect a separate monitor for each server, although they can also be used for desktop computers. |
