| CD+R and CD-R are both standards for writing ("burning") data to a CD. Most CD readers are capable of using both formats. RW means Read and Write, which indicates you can change files that have been burned to a CD. Likewise, DVDs include both +R and -R formats. Newer computers are usually able to use both formats, but older computers may only be able to use DVD+R or DVD-R format. |
